Hi Brian.

Since ARCUST is at the top of the hierarchy, you won't need to update any other tables with the primary key.

>I just installed SP3-4 and my Pervasive Control Center evolved into a completely new program! Perhaps it can show me the relations between tables?

No, the relations aren't persisted anywhere. There's a program called SuperView from Telistics (www.telistics.com) that provides a complete data dictionary for ACCPAC tables, including table and field descriptions and relations.

>I think I originally misjudged Pervasive. I'm not sure how stable it is, but the company provides tons of tools to interface with it and documentation. This may turn out to be fun on the DBA side of things!

Pervasive isn't bad, and does come with nice tools. My main issue with it is performance: getting data from one table isn't bad, but ask it to do a join and the performance just tanks.
