Yes I think that in WinXP could be some kind functions, like in Win2K. I don't like to send you a message that open DOS console in XP, you could do setup nothinfg, because Microsoft stopped to support most of DOS functions in XP.
If this occurs you will be forced either to convert to VFP or to not use WinXP.
