Thanks Victor. However, I guess my question wasn't clear enough. I already know my "choices" but what I was refering to was the actual access-level required to run the COM+ component on the network.

I could install the component and create client install from my desktop computer (which I have admin-level access), run setup on another computer and it would work fine. However, when I install the component on our network server (which I don't have admin-level access) and try to use my domain user account to run under, it isn't working.

Thus, my question is what level of access the identity of the user account need to have in order to run the component on the network? TIA.

>You can set it as the Interactive User which means that the component inherits the rights of the user currently logged in the machine where the component resides. Or you can choose to give it an explicit User Name and Password should the Interactive User not have sufficient rights.
It's "my" world. You're just living in it.
