I've tried each of the following:

IMPLEMENTS ApplicationEvents2 IN "word.application"

IMPLEMENTS ApplicationEvents2 IN "msword9.olb"

IMPLEMENTS ApplicationEvents2 IN "c:\program files\microsoft office\office\msword9.olb"

IMPLEMENTS ApplicationEvents2 IN "{00020905-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}"

The only one that works is the one that includes the full path to the olb file. Of course this won't work for distributed programs.

I used the following article as an example. In which they use "word.application", "outlook.application" and "excel.application". I realize just because they use it in sample code does not mean it will actually work.

I've had two other programmers test this in house, they've had the same problems. Any other suggestions?
