There are also several C# books that state Microsoft built C# specifically for the .NET Framework.
<
So was VB .NET.
<
There is strong evidence that a great majority of the .NET framework is written in C#.
<
VB and VFP were written using C++. Using your rationale, it would necessarily be better to use the language the tool was largely written in. Keeping in mind that parts of VB were written in VB and parts of VFP (class browser, etc) were written in VFP.

Your attempts to down play my knowledge about C# and .NET have backfired on you - yet your statement proves that you know very little about VB since you couldn't even name a utility written in VB for VB <lol>. And here you are trying boost VB.NET and portray it's power. John, how much do you really know about VB.NET?
So basically, you're agreeing with on the fact that C# is better suited for the .NET Framework.
