I think VBAssist was written in VB. All of the add-ins that ship with VB are written in VB. Dataclas COM was written in VB (I wrote the first version) SQLAudit is written in VB.

No...It is simply a .NET langauge that can work with the framework - albeit at a lower level than other languages. As far as certain types of apps and/or certain types of developers, some will prefer C# and some will prefer VB. The power is in the framework and those who peg themselves to a specific language as a per se rule are using yesterday's thinking...
