In all seriousness, I use EditPad or NotePad and put a SHOW ERROR command at the end of each of my SP code blocks. These are all SQL scripts that I then run under SQL*Plus. If an error happens, the SHOW ERROR will display the exact error, code line number and column. This is usually enough to get me pointed in the right direction to correct the problem.
