One more thing. If your lucky, an ActiveX control may have a property (or at least return a trappable error code) when trying to open the file. If all else fails, maybe you could write one. Since Fox crashes when trying to view the picture, you would probably have to use a different language to write your own checker. Anyone else have a better idea??
>Yikes! Well, Error handling is out since it crashes without mercy. The only other thing that I can think of is to try to find an Active X control to display the picture. Since some software that you have found can display it without a problem, there may just be a control out there somewhere than can also. This wouldn't fix the corruption, but at least it would work around it.
