Whoa there Big Boy - I don't think Denis was complaining - your just misinterpretting. I think some developers have better things to do than update the framework topic on the Wiki. Just because somebody doesn't update your particular Wiki topic doesn't make them off-side either.

In fact, both Denis and I both use Codemine and the last time I looked, Dave Lehr from Soft Classics walked straight into a load of stick for mentioning why Codemine does certain things in certain ways. I wouldn't be suprised if Dave never visited the Wiki again.

>Well, don't contribute and don't complain when others are trying to provide valuable independant reviews.
>>>Nothing is up to date. Newspapers are hours old
>>
>>Frameworks don't change hourly <g>
>>
>>>magazines are months old.
>>
>>How would it be possible ot keep a magazine up to date? print issues every 15 minutes. Come on be serious.
>>
>>>Vendors' websites are not necessarily updated more frequently.
>>
>>If and when that's the case it gives a good idea of how serious they are about their tool. But there could also be good reasons for that. For example preparing to release a major version of a framework. I'll always prefer a better framework over a terrific web site. After the framework has been released they'll have time to fix the web site. That's why somebody looking to buy a framework should always contact the makers before making a buying decision.
>>
>>>Most vendors will say whatever they need to sell products (as far as I know none of the framework vendors have ever said anything dishonest).
>>
>>You give weight to what I was saying. They should update info about their frameworks if they don't say nothing dishonest.
>>
>>>You're either part of the solution of part of the problem.
>>
>>Does that mean that because I don't contribute I'm part of problem? Weird logic here. Perhaps that's the reason I don't contribute. I don't want to be a part of the problem <g>
