Not corny at all - I had to pop up Character Map to see the difference. Then I tested it in VFP and you were correct.

BTW, How are things in Christchurch? My wife and I did a whirlwind 3 week vacation doing NZ in '84 and loved it. You have a beautiful city and country. We keep threatening to do it again...
