Under NT, you can deny specific users acess to specific devices or folders on the local workstation on a user-by-user basis.

NT can provide services (file and printer service access) to a Mac based workstation, again on a user-by-user basis. The Mac cannot run PC-based software as if it were native Mac software without emulator software, and you can deny execution access to PC executables to Mac stations on a user-by-user basis. Unlike Win2K with AD, you do not have the ability to limit permissions by station category or ID. PCs cannot access Mac software without an emulator. Mac files, which contain two forks, a data fork and a resource fork, may not be able to use PC files with it's native software IAC.

NT is a discontinued product - MS no longer sells and supports it new, although it can be obtained on the grey market; you'd be interested in Win2K Server or Advanced Server with specific options. Costs would depend on how your licensing scheme is implemented.
