I don't know how meaningful the prices would be when looking this far ahead. I certainly won't buy plane tickets any time soon. I was thinking that if I will spend this much for my father and me to go this far, I should spend another week in Hawaii, and see another island. In any event, it would be nice to find a way to get there for cheaper.

A number of friends and family members have gone to Kauai during December with mixed results. Out of six trips in rained 5 times - one really bad storm around Christmas. It is a great area to see and enjoy.
