Yes, and I do that too. And it's possible that some bug may never get fixed under that methodology.
There is a difference though, and most notably it is that *my* user population is generally verysmall compared to the entire VFP community. In my case the "word" gets out for sure to ALL that need to hear it.
Not so, again, for the VFP community. Even Sergey didn't know about this one! < s >

I reported a bug (along with a few other people, I'm sure) in VFP regarding ATC(). Seems like a small thing. The fact that it took me over 4 hours to isolate made it a pretty gruesome one to me. The fact that typical VFP usage is moving to more and more long string processing makes it even more important in my eyes. Still not even a KB article about it.
