That book seems to agree with Ed R. about grids.

Bret, do you think such significant part of work (putting all about grids at Wiki) could be done by somebody for free? I cannot afford this because I have to make some money for life, and here it is even worse because low salaries. I guessed it should go in normal way as usually it goes with all other stuff. Stuff for free is usually for learning or making a clue of how to do something. Relly good-quality stuff and information should not go for free, otehrwise world will lose interest in making things of good quality. Just my opinion.

I do not know if you looked to this already: just read VFP Grids Part I to III articles here, as well as take a look to downloads and FAQ. You will see a lot of new things there.
