I suspect hardware as well, but I cannot figure out why this message would be generated when I use PREVIEW. The data is located on the same machine, but the printers are networked. Do you think it's possible that some strange printer setting has been saved in my report (FRX) file? Thanks again for your help.

>Marcus, no guarantees, but you might want to check the network connections and the user rights for the people having this problem. VFP is telling you it can't handle some action, and if it's random it may be a hardware problem.
