Yep, you're getting old. I'm having the same problem about constantly looking up .NET stuff. :-)
Actually, I'm finding the combination of Intellisense and context-sensitive help in VS.NET pretty valuable if I at least know the class name to work with.
As for books, I like the SAMS books, including
Programming Data-Driven Web Applications with ASP.NET, Dan Wahlin's
XML for ASP.NET Developers and
ASP.NET: Tips, Tutorials and Code. I need to go find a good one for WinForms development, however.
