The Wrox Professional WinForms book is pretty good actually. Also, Jeff Richter's .NET Framework book is excellent on .NET Framework concepts (little bit on the technical side, but the best overall conceptual book I've seen so far).

Dan Wahlin's book is the best overall XML book I've seen even though it's ASP.NET specific...
