No I am not using a commercial framework, I developed my own which uses business objects which interract with data objects by way of chain of responsibility communications. The business objects prepare cursors for use by processes and forms. The data objects are abstract data behavior interfaces to the data store. There is a lot of plumbing but it allows a flexible design with virtually any backend with negligable impact on the running applicaiton.

I was advised by many people more learned than I to use a commercial framework, and I still may, but I wanted to experiment and try to roll my own.
