I read you reply and had to ask, when you say "if you are not using VFP Views (which our gurus say you should not)" do you mean:
1 You should NOT not use views
or not use views? I am assuming you mean the gurus say we should not use views.
I have been using views and I am very interested in discussions concerning the pros and cons.
