>George,
>completely off topic.... Did you come up with your own latin motto or should I know it's source?

>It reminds me of my days in the British armed forces: there were two corps that actually had the same motto (doh!). I was a Royal Engineer and our one word motto "Ubique" meant "everywhere" whereas the Artillery's motto "Ubique" translated to "all over the *9&*ing place".

>I suspect that a mischevious translator could have similar fun with your motto (caritas means 'high priced' as well as 'caring'!)

I've used my sig for everything from quotes (from Disraeli to Descarte), bizzare excerpts from Bob Dylan tunes, to funny things (such as things that might be said by a Klingon programmer, complete list in MESSAGE#230965).

In this case, it's my response to the events of last September 11th. Loosely translated it means, "Where love is, God is also." Being a retired Anglican chorister, I can tell you that the phrase is the subject of a number of musical settings used in the Episcopal Church.
George
