Greetings to all! I'm owner of the VS6 Pro and mostly I'm working with VFP. As the situation demands no huge databases, I'm pretty satisfied with genuine VFP database and tables. Sometime, something different via ODBC. I'm interested to use MySQL database under some Windows environment instead DBC/DBF. How it works? I have some bad experiences from using ADO connection (no cursor as result of query, less uncomfortable than using DBC...) and I have fear that something like that could happen again? An Oracle and MS SQL Server are too expensive for me, because this is not for commercial purpose (for education is), due that MySQL seems good to me.
