Of course :).

The "each property is fine" may mean "no visible bad characters". Find the property which makes trouble, select the whole line beyond the equal sign, and just type any text there.
Close the table (i.e. USEd vcx), compile classlib, modify class - and see if your text appears in the PEM windows. Then just delete that text.
Should work. If not, tell me exactly which version of VFE are you using, I think I got some backups here - and I'll send you the classlib which compiles fine in both 6 and 7.
