i have embedded an edit box in a grid. the edit box allows the user to change a memo field. however when the user enters something such as

"the quick
brown fox

jumped over"

and then tabs out, the edit box displays "the quick0brown fox00jumped over". it is is actually not the '0' character but a square one. what gives?
