>I just had this problem crop up in one of my FPDos 2.6 apps this weekend. I could use the file no problem (the .fpt file did exist). But trying to add/edit/delete anything in the memo field produced same error. What I did was to Use the file, COPY TO TEMP, delete the original 2 files. I then renamed the TEMP.dbf and .fpt files to the original file names. Just be careful of your SET DELETED condition if deleted records are important to you.

Also delete any associated CDX with the original file.
