But, with ReiserFS's journaling system I didn't see the need to feed electrons to my UPS so I unplugged it. It only added 5 minutes of uptime anyway, and if I were not home that 5 minutes wouldn't make much difference.


If I didn't live in a trailer in a lightning prone area with a paranoid wife, I could be boasting about uptime also. I get to see messages about 'x number of mounts, check forced' instead.
