>They could also write me a check for $10K and it wouldn't hurt them either. But will they? No. Why? Cause its a stupid argument. You've spewed that bullshit on the UT 5 times today. You're just making yourself look worse. Come up with a real argument for your position. There are some. Its not hard.

You take a bit of hyperbole and use that as the main argument. Come on, Mike, you can do better than that.

MS has $40+ billions in the bank. We hear that VFP7 is to have no more SPs despite there being lots of known bugs. Craig B. tells us we can have 'new features plus bug fixes' or 'just bug fixes' "but not both". I say that MS can afford both.

I'd guess that sales of VFP7 are below expectations. I can't do anything about that personally, because the copies that I have any influence on are at VFP7 (only 4 copies total).

Now I look at MS and their nice cash reserve and I say to myself... and they have this despite the delivery of .NET, a massive development effort over 3+ years that has very little to show in the way of payback at this point. In other words, they funded .NET and have no return yet on it (to speak of) and still have $40+ billion. Surely a measly $1,000,000. (1,000,000/40,000,000,000 = 1/40,000th) of that could be spent on VFP. I'd bet we could get quite a bit more for $1,000,000 injected into the VFP Team. 2/40,000ths would be even better.
