>You take a bit of hyperbole and use that as the main argument. Come on, Mike, you can do better than that.
You're right, its not an argument. Its an irrelevant fact that you keep trying to make a point with. Thanks for the correction.
>MS has $40+ billions in the bank.
Every minute the United States spends another $589,802 on the military.
>We hear that VFP7 is to have no more SPs despite there being lots of known bugs.
None are planned is what I think was said. I really suppose what really happens depends on community, and if some severe VFP7 bugs are discovered. If no show stopping bugs exist, I don't think that the complexity of a Service Pack is justifiable. Thats just my opinoin of course.
>I say that MS can afford both.
I say MS can afford a small European country.
>Now I look at MS and their nice cash reserve
You really have no idea what you're talking about, do you? What MS plans to do with that money (there are some pretty good theories out there, have you read them in Money or Forbes magazine? How about the Gartner reports?) you have no idea. You're guessing how the Fox team spends their resources. You're guessing on how many real bugs are in teh product and how much their actually costing MS. You're guessing on the number of resources to execute what you're guessing should be done.
I don't have a problem with you voicing the concern that there are some bugs that probably should be fixed. I agree; I'd like the Fox team to fix bugs in VFP7 too. But you really don't have a leg to stand on with this "You have forty billion, you can do what I want" crap. Just some advice.
