Are you sure it is a keyboard mapping issue, and not a font issue? If you type 'DISPLAY STATUS' and hit return (of course you have to be careful, since you can't see what you are typing *grin*), does the output to the screen look normal?

Have you tried deleting the foxuser.dbf file and restarting VFP?
