I'm looking at the EULA right now, and it does certainly specify that one individual must be designated as the only person using the software, and that the individual can then make and use copies of the software.
However, I can not find even an implication of the idea that it must be used for the same work in each place. I can see a sort of sense to that, but if that really is a requirement, it should be, at the very least, hinted at in the EULA.
This is one of the reasons that I have my own copy independent of the company copy. Hidden EULA requirements always seem to sprout up like weeds whenever questions are asked.

>1 Licensed Copy Per Developer

>That SAME licensed copy MAY be installed in a home pc (OF THE LICENSED DEVELOPER)if it is used for the same purpose as the copy at work (in other words, you take work home to do).

>>It sure soundsl like you're talking about the Professional Version with 1 license per copy - which is what I have. If that's the case, then you need to designate each license to a particular individual. That individual (as I read it) can then take it and install it at home under the condition you stated.

>>>Is it accurate to say that, if we buy and install VFP 7 for our organization, then individual developers can also install it and use it at home without an additional license, provided that two installations of the same licensed copy are never in use at the same time?

>>>Wow ... I had to read that twice, and I wrote the dang thing! But I think you get the gist :)
