If you have a copy of VFP, then you probably already have a copy of Sql Server as well (it is titled MSDE). It is bundled with VFP, but they might call it something different in VFP 7.

Anyway, it is a somewhat stripped down version of Sql Server but should allow you to play with it to see if it will work for you.
