>Ken, I think you are right on this one (but hey, I only have to drive two hours to Ft. Lauderdale, and I am staying at the Sheraton for $79 next door to the Merriott - and all this saves me a bundle).

>But, I am just glad there are so many different VFP conferences I can pick and go to when I need a little extra help, and I have never been to one yet I didn't find useful and worth my money. A few years ago I also programed in another language in addition to FoxPro, and this other company only had a developers conference once every couple years. And, there were none others offered by any outside source.

>So, I think we are pretty fortunate and "lucky" that VFP has such a great following to offer many conferences.
I completely agree, and I will be working to help increase attendence to all the upcoming VFP conferences. I'm the luckiest person of all since I get to to all of them, I want to support each one. EssentialFox had over 260 attendees and I will fully support them next year, probably more than this time. WhilFest has a chance have more attendees this year, I can work much closer with Whil this time than last and I think it will have a great turnout. The VFP conference in Prague, Czech Republic next month has over 400 attendees signed up already and I will be attending that one along with our Fox team group manager Ricardo Wenger. I think it will be easy to say this year will be far better for VFP conferences than last year.
