>I suspect ... may be I´m this "friend of mine", right ? :o)

Yup. :)

>Its incredible, but the words of Tom Bellmer are exactly the same I said to Leonardo Tolomelli (MS Brazil Development Tools Manager)

just to make it correct, Leonardo´s position is "Developer Program Manager". :)

> in that meeting we had with him at MS Brazil last year, regarding the future of VFP and our group in Brazil ... do you remember ?

Yes, and just like I told on the previous message, I agree with that in a pratical way, meaning that VFP is a lot easier than VB.Net for VBers. But I cannot believe they will go towards VFP, neitheir Microsoft will tell them to do that. never...

>And the worse part, can you remember his answer ? Much like Ken Levy´s positions, wasn´t it ? What I´m really afraid of is that those old novels about the life cycle of VFP are coming back again :o(
>(see my other post in reply to Rick Strahl).

Yes, I do remember. That´s a sad truth. It really seems that Microsoft doesn´t want to have new VFPers, as they doesn´t promote VFP... as I told in another message, VS.NET was marketed exaustly during two long years, with a lot of ads and Beta, Release Candidate and so on... what about VFP 7? Nothing. No beta, no trial, no ads... so, who will by VFP 7? Just those people who already know the tool.
