Well, it doesn't have to be hard. Notice I didn't say it wasn't necessarily alot of work, just that it IS VERY DOABLE for the typical VFP developer. Heck, if I can do it... < g >

Uh, it doesn't have to be. Say you have 25 SQL Servers registered in the Enterprise Manager. You could write a script that updates specific SP's on every server and just run than script on your machine.
Remote administration is one of my favorite features of SQL Server. Nothing like modifying table structures, stored procs, scheduling database backups, monkeying with user security settings, etc all from the comfort of my plush office chair. < s >
