Yep... buffering already at 5. Just a tid-bit more info. Using an ODBC connection and remote views in VFP. Have tried every possible thing I can think of to get the =tableupdate() to work. Using =tableupdate(0,.t.), or =tabeupdate(.t.,.t.) cannot force the update. Using same ODBC connection and MS Access, VisualScribe, Toad (oracle utility), Oracle Visual DBA, updates work 100%, but fail in VFP 5.0 and VFP 7.0 (don't have 6.0)
