Using =tableupdate(0,.t.), or =tabeupdate(.t.,.t.) cannot force the update. Using same ODBC connection and MS Access, VisualScribe, Toad (oracle utility), Oracle Visual DBA, updates work 100%, but fail in VFP 5.0 and VFP 7.0 (don't have 6.0)

Can you run GenDBC (located under home()+'\tools\gendbc') against your DBC that contains the remote view and post that here. Maybe there is a setting that needs to be changed.
