You can do a WAP push to the cell phone, if the phone as a WAP MicroBrowser in it (the majority of them do, incuding everything from Sprint and Verizon, ect.)

I think Tom O'Hare has done alot of the work for you, check out http://www.afpweb.com/ and you shoudl find some WAP downloads that do exactly this push.
