I'm picking up this thread. I have a problem here in Kosovo where I try to install our software (executables only, no VFP) on a LAN. Our software has been created in VFP5.0A. On 3 of the 5 workstations where I installed our software, all goes well. On 2 stations I get "lpf.exe is not an object file" when starting the program. However when from the non-working station, I start the LPF.EXE on another machine, all goes well. But that's not what I want. The program has to run with the .EXE from each station. I tried to remove the VFP500.DLL and the VFP5ENU.DLL and reinstall, I even copied them from another machine or from the original VFP CD, but nothing seems to help.
Do you have any ideas?
Kind regards,
Hans Verkoijen
>>>What about computers where application runs w/problem. Do they have the same dll version? What they have in common the other don't?
>> Yes, I checked the machine where the problem occurs, and on that machine, the dlls are current. I've tried this on 2 machines at the client site. I suppose I could try it on another machine, but my guess is that they will all behave the same.

>> Thanks
>Nope.
