>I'm picking up this thread. I have a problem here in Kosovo where I try to install our software (executables only, no VFP) on a LAN. Our software has been created in VFP5.0A. On 3 of the 5 workstations where I installed our software, all goes well. On 2 stations I get "lpf.exe is not an object file" when starting the program. However when from the non-working station, I start the LPF.EXE on another machine, all goes well. But that's not what I want. The program has to run with the .EXE from each station. I tried to remove the VFP500.DLL and the VFP5ENU.DLL and reinstall, I even copied them from another machine or from the original VFP CD, but nothing seems to help.

Did you try to copy exe from working machine? Did you check PC for viruses?
