I can send you trial version of our FoxPictureBox ActiveX control, which you can use in VB/VFP/IE.

FoxPictureBox is written similarly to PictureBox in VB 6.0, but provides much more functionality (stretching, copy from/paste to clipboard, loading from/saving to a picture file). More over, you can draw dots, lines/rectangles and ellipses (rectangles and ellipses can be filled) and save these charts. FoxPictureBox can also be data-bound to picture field in DAO/ADO cursors and fully support DragDrop/OLEDragDrop operations in automatically/manual mode. You can also print text on FoxPictureBox, which can be rotated on desired angle. The printed text will use current FoxPictureBox font settings (fontname, size, bold, etc.) and text will have color, specified in ForeColor property. Also you can copy entire picture or some region of her on the specified place of FoxPictureBox.

I think with this functionality you can easily draw on some region filled rectangles or paste on that region other picture or part of her.
