Rich,
>You are welcome Doug. I only post to these kinds of threads every once in a great while. Last night I had been coding way to late on the new Report Preview Control and have since gotten very little sleep. But I just wanted to post my observations since I have been writing business apps for a long time in many industries and most of my clients range from 3 to 100 people in size. Some are schools too. I've also do network design and have built servers and workstations for clients too and I am always discussing with them what they are looking for and need. So, I'd like to think I'm in the "Thick" of things. :-)
Righto.. I fundamentally agree with folks like John Petersen about the need to expand one's horizons and so forth -and- also that VFP is going to be around for a long time to come. The problem IMO comes from the inevitable personality clashes.
Maybe I should just go pop some popcorn. <g>
Best,
DD
