Yes, personality clashes are a way of life due to everyone's different beliefs.

When I saw VFP 3.0 at Devcon San Diego in 1995, it brought tears my eyes because I knew now that I could change the world with a tool like that. I just didn't foresee how many years it would take to get a really stable product like we have today. But it was a growing experience for me and it made me an even better problem solver. Solving business problems and creating something from nothing "Imagineering" is a lot more fun than solving Fluid Dynamics problems or Structural load equations.

So the passions run deeper for some than others, but it really isn't productive towards the continuance of the product to argue about that kind of stuff. We have a "REALLY COOL" tool and you can make just about anything you want. Too bad I didn't write code to make a client of mine's COMMAND.COM READ ONLY, which you can do in VFP. Because she just called with the problem of "BAD OR MISSING COMMAND INTERPRETER."

She speaks English but not Computer! :-)

Boy 3.5 hours of sleep and I really get slap happy!

So as Ken was asking everyone at Essential Fox. What new features and improvements would help you sell more applications to your clients. Or, what would cause them to buy their own copy of VFP. I think if a pair of Walt Disney World passes would be a pretty cool thing to stick in the box. Then when you finish your next AWESOME APPLICATION and you get asked the question what are going to do now?

You could say, "I'm going to Disney World with the Free Passes included with my VFP Upgrade!"

:-)
