Charles,
When I wrote my original FoxPro DOS school manager back in 1990, the schools went from 2 days of 2 people hand adding attendance down to a 45 second report each month. That's when your client's love what you do for them.
I love "Imagineering" every day. I carry a digital recorder for ideas much like Keaton in "Night Shift". Just I have more productive ideas. I'm currently trying to put the "Wow" and "Cool" factor into an improved Report Preview/Designer tool for VFP. It can also be used in Web pages, VB, VC or Delphi.
You can now scale your Report Preview to 100,000% if desired. Plus I added a watermark property on a page by page basis. You can preview it off my website if you want. It loads a VFP report into the control for previewing then you can quickly scroll through your report in a flash. Plus you can print whatever is in the preview without closng the report on a page by page or page range basis. I think people who have been living with the VFP limitations will like it. I've been struggling with it for years and playing a lot of the tricks that are in Cathy's new book for a long time. So why not make it a lot easier.
