So - are you prepared to say that VB .NET contains absolutly NO syntax or other language/behavior characteristics that would not be different if there had never been a VB prior to the .NET version? Aryou saying that nothing was altered to appease the VB masses?

I have not tested (nor likely will I anytime soon) this myself - but either you are incorrect, or there are other sources with what I beleive to be better knowledge of this that are incorrect. BTW - this is not a primary reason for me as I beleive it will mostly bethe same performance wise.
