No, I am deleting the correct record, and what do you mean by "is 2nd private". I have not declared it as anything. The 2nd form has 2 buttons, Delete and Cancel. Delete has the Delect code i posted here. Cancel is just - thisform.release(). On release, it returns me to the calling form1.

Interestingly, I did an executable, and ran the app, then deleted a record. It went away, but when I exited the form and came back, I saw it again. But once I hit the Navigation button, it disapeared. I also have SDT and once I did a reindex and pack, the record was deleted completely. What do you recommend? TIA
