Tom,

>Unless I do not understand Ken's message that simplistic way of thinking has been Ken's message - upgrate to VFP 7.0 to insure the future of the product.

I can't believe that the future of VFP is depending solely on the upgrades, and think it's very simplistic to say: "Ok, I upgraded to VFP 7, so I've played my role.".

If you noticed the context where I said "...but find it's a simplistic way of thinking to say that upgrading to VFP 7 is the best thing one can do to the future of VFP..." you'll understand that I meant there is many other things that should be done to achieve the desired results, thus improving VFP's market share. That won't happen by just making upgrades.

I ended with "I think that Esther joinining the Educational staff is far better that having a handfull of new features to the product, and having this kind of support will help to bring new blood to our community.". That is my modest opinion and I believe in it.

By what have been hapenning makes me understand that Ken is doing much more than just gathering ideas to implement in Toledo, and I start to feel happy about that.

Fernando
