Fernando;

Unless I do not understand Ken's message that simplistic way of thinking has been Ken's message - upgrate to VFP 7.0 to insure the future of the product.

If no one upgraded to VFP 7.0 would happen to the product? Why should there be a VFP 8.0? Perhaps we should all wait until there is a VFP 9.0 on the market to upgrade. Then we can be sure about the life of the product.

>Interesting point Gary... see you're very enthusiastic about FoxPro, that's great, but find it's a simplistic way of thinking to say that upgrading to VFP 7 is the best thing one can do to the future of VFP.

>I didn't upgrade to VFP 7 yet, but can say that have been made continuous "preaching" in one of my clients (and in many other places), as a result they have now two of their developers seriously involved in shifting to VFP. Now all we need is to have a little help from MS to show we're in the right path.

Sales? They sure will come after (new) people see VFP as a good alternative. If MS stands just in VFP upgrades, they will never see big figures ($$$).

>By the way, investing in support and all other educational related things means marketing to me, as well. Aplause to MS!
