The reason that I asked about the file sizes is because I wrote a VFP app. that loads images from jpg files that vary from 50K to 100K and there is no problem with the speed. This is of course a subjective measure and will also depend on the hardware configuration that it is setup on. For example, if the images are on a mapped network drive, that will add to the slowdown, especially if they are "large" files and a "slow" load time is to be expected.
I understand that the images will vary by client, but, from your initial question you said that you loaded 6 images and that it loaded slowly. What were the sizes of the files that you are trying to load? Are we talking less than 100K, 1MB, >1MB?
