Hi,
My application on startup will first load at least 12 images of sizes
like 600K (I tried to advise my customer on this issue, but not confirm).
BTW, can you advise me how your application work without giving your
customer the impression that your application is not slow.
My image file will all be in the local drive.
Thank you

>The reason that I asked about the file sizes is because I wrote a VFP app. that loads images from jpg files that vary from 50K to 100K and there is no problem with the speed. This is of course a subjective measure and will also depend on the hardware configuration that it is setup on. For example, if the images are on a mapped network drive, that will add to the slowdown, especially if they are "large" files and a "slow" load time is to be expected.

>I understand that the images will vary by client, but, from your initial question you said that you loaded 6 images and that it loaded slowly. What were the sizes of the files that you are trying to load? Are we talking less than 100K, 1MB, >1MB?
