I am using WinXP pro with the latest service pack. Several times per day when I try to access internet content via IE6 or news groupws with Outlook Express I get a window that says "Would you like to go offline. No internet connection is currently available...". I click "Try again" and the internet connection starts working again.

Hi Evan,
Could it be due to the lease expiring from the ISP? What is the duration of the lease?
From a windows command prompt:
ipconfig /all
Also, I've heard that some people have "Dial whenever a network connection is not present" set as a option under the IE Connections tab, eventhough there isn't a dial-up...
