There are those that go to many lengths to find issues for the sole purpose of getting bug counts up. What they think this earns them, I don't know..I am sure we are speaking of the same people here...< s >..
There is some hypothesis, offered by somebody I cannnot recall now, that says that no line of code can ever be proven to be bug free because it cannot be run in every conceivable scenario. I don't know if a single unique definition of bug exists. I definitely believe there are multiple classes of bugs. I definitely believe an element of cost justification that comes into play.
